We are a family owned and operated  business located in Reading, Pennsylvania. We raise Teacup Poodles and Toy Poodles. Here at Cutie Kennel we offer healthy ACA registered poodles available in red, cream, apricot, and black.  We take pride in our sires and dams as for each one has been hand picked and raised from a puppy in house. All of our fur babies come with a certificate of good health, current shots, de-worming, microchipped, registration papers and crate for deliver. Poodles originated in Germany and are a known breed that have been around for at least 400 years in Western Europe. Poodle is derived from pudel, a German word meaning “to splash,” or puddle, indicating the breed’s water abilities. It was also known as chien canard in France, reflecting its duck-hunting abilities. Toy and Teacup Poodles were bred down from a Standard and Miniature Poodle and have become two of the most popular dog breeds.Toy and Teacup Poodles tend to have a life span generally between 12-18 years. Toy Poodles are generally under 10 inches and between 6-10 pounds. Teacup poodles are usually less than 6 pounds and shorter than 9 inches. They’re hypoallergenic and have minimal shedding. This breed only needs to be groomed to prevent matting and increase shine. Usually, brushing your Toy and Teacup Poodle once or twice a week and grooming every six weeks is sufficient. In addition to coat care, you’ll need to trim your Toy or Teacup Poodle’s nails monthly, check their ears weekly and brush their teeth or use an enzyme toothpaste daily. These dog breeds can adapt to a wide range of living situations due to their small size. Their intelligence is one of their predominant features and is often showcased during obedience training. Toy and Teacup Poodles have tremendous problem-solving capabilities that make them ideal for competitions. Toy and Teacup Poodles love attention and are super devoted to their families making them excellent companions.
